Published
The State of Southeast Asia: 2019 Survey Report was published by the ISEAS – Yusof Ishak Institute on 29 January 2019. It aims to present a general view of prevailing attitudes among those in a position to inform or influence policy. It has enjoyed wide coverage by the global and regional media, including the Australian Financial Review, Bloomberg, The Diplomat, Foreign Policy, Reuters, and The Straits Times.
Now into its third year, the Survey aims to understand the perceptions of Southeast Asian opinion-makers and thought leaders on regional political, economic, and social issues, as well as ASEAN’s engagements with its Dialogue Partners, especially the major powers.
