Alex Tilman

Ambassador Alex Tilman is the Ambassador of Timor-Leste to Singapore. Prior to his appointment as Ambassador to Singapore, he worked for the UN Resident Coordinator’s Office in Timor-Leste as Partnership and Development Financing Officer.

Amb. Tilman received a master’s degree in public policy in 2011 from the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy of Singapore. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in science from the University of Melbourne, Australia, and a graduate diploma in community development from Victoria University, also in Australia.

He is also a founding member of Maluk Timor, a local NGO that provides healthcare support to the Timor-Leste government and builds resilience in the healthcare system.
