Nicholas Farrelly

Professor Nicholas Farrelly is a Pro Vice-Chancellor at the University of Tasmania, Australia. He has previously held senior academic positions at the University of Tasmania, as Head of Social Sciences, and at the Australian National University, where he was Associate Dean in the College of Asia and the Pacific. He has published widely on political, cultural and security issues in Southeast Asia. Professor Farrelly currently serves on the board of the Australia-ASEAN Council and as a Director of Australia’s National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters.
