Pritish Bhattacharya

Mr Pritish Bhattacharya is a Senior Research Officer in the Regional Economic Studies Programme at ISEAS – Yusof Ishak Institute.

His work focuses on ASEAN’s development initiatives in the areas of trade, investment and services. His recent publications assess the impact of diverse public policies in the region, including those related to multilateral trade agreements, fiscal policy stabilisation and post-pandemic growth strategies. Since joining ISEAS in 2017, Mr Bhattacharya has also been the Associate Editor of the Journal of Southeast Asian Economies (JSEAE). He has a Master’s Degree in Applied Economics from the National University of Singapore and a Bachelors (Hons) Degree in Economics from the University of Delhi, India.
