Wai Moe is a former Burmese political prisoner turned journalist. He has written for the Irrawaddy, Burmese media, The New York Times, Foreign Policy, The Washington Post and National Public Radio (NPR). He was a Visiting Fellow with the Myanmar Studies Programme at ISEAS – Yusof Ishak Institute.
