Ambassador Pou Sothirak is the Distinguished Senior Advisor to the Cambodian Center for Regional Studies (CCRS). He was a Visiting Senior Research Fellow at the Institute of Southeast Asian Studies (ISEAS) in Singapore from January 2009 to December 2012. He has had a long public service career with Cambodia, including as Ambassador to Japan and Minister of Industry Mines and Energy (1993 to 1998).
